In fact, the first known calendar was a carved bone with 28 marks. It didn’t just track time – it tracked the moon and the menstrual cycle. Back then, people understood something we’re only just starting to remember: that the moon and the feminine are deeply connected.

The first people to use numbers weren’t doing maths for money or business – they were women using numbers to track their cycles. Watching the moon. Noticing their bleeding. Carving marks into bones to understand the flow of time.
Women were the first mathematicians – using numbers to understand life, not just measure it.
The Triple Goddess and the Moon
The moon has three main phases – just like the feminine.
The waxing moon is the Maiden – full of new energy and ideas.
The full moon is the Mother – glowing, creative, strong.
The waning moon is the Crone – wise, quiet, and deeply powerful.
These three phases live inside each of us. When we connect to the moon, we begin to honour every part of ourselves – the bright and the dark, the rising and the resting.
